One could have had top tier 85 inch sony 900h or 85 inch vizio pqx for around $1800-2000 on prime day. The q60 is no longer mid tier tv. It is low tier.

Where? Best price I've seen is $1,999 for the Vizio P85QX-H1 from Sam's Club (I bought it).

That was my thought as well. 900h competes with a Q70 Samsung to put it in perspective

Get the 75 q80t instead on the deal page. This TV is bottom barrel basic. So if you just want a tv for size only there are way cheaper options. This tv has no local dimming nor does it get bright enough for HDR to really pop and only a 60hz panel.

nothing really good to say about the TV.

Movies are 24hz.... 120/24 = 5, an even number. 60/24 =2.5, a fractional number. By having a 120hz panel, movies can be shown in their original frame rate. With a 60hz panel one frame is shown 2 times then the next frame is shown 3 times (this is called 3:2pulldown) and it introduces a jerkiness to motion.
