I set up these with the matching center channel (520C?), some Fluance bipolar rears (room cannot easily support true side surrounds), a SVS PB-1000, and a Denon SX750 from Costco. System sounds great!

Bought these for my desktop setup last month for a 2.1 nearfield -- wow, great stuff.

Now all I need is a sale on 590s/Infinity RC263 to upgrade my HT setup.

These are passive speakers so you'll need a separate amp whereas the presonus has one built in. They're also pretty big so make sure you have enough room

Speakers first, then buy a desk to fit the speakers. 😂

Also need a desktop amp to power these I guess.

Yea, feeding them off Topping MX3. Not sure how neutral they are (but I'm not a musician, so don't really care), but they sound great and were a meaningful upgrade from Pioneer BS22.

They are BIG however (one review correctly referred to them as "baby coffins"), so yes, make sure you have space. But the size comes, mostly from the height: KEF Q150, which I A/B tested against those, and returned had a much larger footprint.

I have these as my 2.1 desktop, paired with Aiyima A07 and umc404hd dac. They sound clearer and fuller than my older lsr305 setup. Really good bang for the buck.

P.S. I originally bought these for fronts for my TV setup, but they definitely shine brightest as nearfield only.

Looks like these have to be used with amplifier, not bluetooth or plug-in and play ready?

They sound even better if you remove the grill and install the bottom piece of the wave guide.

What did you use as the amp?

Disregard. Saw the next post

There are a ton of similar amps like it
