That's too bad that the experience is so inconsistent. I'm worried now since when I went to pay for mine, the payment info submitted but by clicking the link they gave me I got disconnected from chat. I went back in to try and reconnect and they couldn't reconnect me to my original agent or confirm if the order went through. Hopefully I won't have to go through the process of convincing them to price match to $159 again especially since it seems like it depends on which agent you get.

Same happened to me, second agent wouldn't honor the price match since there was no "notation" by the previous rep on my account. Good luck!

Crap. Talking to now my 3rd agent of the day and waiting to hear what he says. He was at least able to confirm that the original order wasn't placed...but now I have to see if they'll honor their original price match to the $159. I already canceled my GS order, too. This has been a huge PITA.

Argh... Tempted. I do have $70 in gs gift cards & I don't need an oled switch or other stuff right now... Or else I will usually price match to bb and earn rewards. I had orders cancelled by GS but I do think GS will ship this. If it gets cancelled, then so be it since I got tempted by SD and shouldn't buy it... Sim racer is pretty awesome in VR...I like how this has f1 and gt racing positions. But its big and still big when folded away (also hard to fold away/setup) compared to the playseat challenge. I am definately going to get yelled at for that due to limited space...But I can explain to SO it looks better and is less space than a diy with plywood... Friend is looking to sell his playseat challenge for $90-$120. I wonder if I should buy that from him instead...r****men*t has 10% CB. still seem expensive for mesh seat with tubings & deck...

Yep, this 3rd guy is saying there's nothing they can do. I keep telling them that the 1st guy was able to but am getting nowhere. Really terrible customer service.

How's it bad customer service? They don't match coupons, if a rep did it once doesn't mean they have to do it everytime.

If a rep can do it once why can't they do it again when the only reason the order wasn't placed was a glitch on their website? The first guy's supervisor approved the $20 off, why can't this other one?

The 9th picture on the Gamestop website shows 1. Free monitor stand; 2. Free keyboard and mouse stand. Is that true?? I don't see that from the product description.

Those are optional "Free standing" accessories. Not "Free" as in no-cost, but "Free standing" as in they have the ability to stand free on their own and aren't attached to the seat.

Regardless, I'm in for one at this price. I have a 3 monitor setup from a Walmart clearance deal that I bought to use for a sim configuration....now I just need a good deal on a wheel and pedal package.

Doing it once is courtesy. it's against their policy so that rep could get into trouble for doing it over again and again.

Received one last year as a gift at full price, have been very satisfied with it so far. It's stable and can be folded for people who live in compact apartment.

I just got the Playseat Challenge, yet to be assembled, but this is really tempting being $25 cheaper. I'm pretty short though so I doubt the extra size is necessary. The wifey factor also has me thinking the compactness of the Challenge is probably the way to go.

I do want to feel stable though. Is that something that can't be achieved with the Challenge?
