I haven't seen Onkyo come up with new stuff in a few years and I thought that model was discontinued. Heck I haven't seen new products sold in stores in a few years now. I'd be concerned about getting support from Onkyo for that reason so I'd go with the Denon.

I think the Denon is better quality wise, and the sound setup program is more highly regarded, from what I've read. But, the Onkyo says it can output HDMI audio to Zone B, so that would be the deciding factor for me. I'm sure lots of others will chime in!

My current Onkyo receiver sound died, is Onkyo still crap or would this one be a good replacement? I'm a little worried about trusting Onkyo again.

It's too bad. My onkyo from 2003 is still rocking. Now it's relegated to another room but solid value.

I'm very close to getting a Costco membership, but happy with Sam's. I hear a lot of noise that Costco is just better in general but it feels kinda like the iPhone vs Android argument and I'd just like to hear a grown-up explanation. Seriously, what's the top of the list thing about Costco that makes you say yeah I wanna pay $60-$120 again this year. ???

If things would work consistently they'd be great and they are pretty. But there is a huge issue with the sub constantly cutting out. Been happening for years with the LG bars.
