It's plying the same game then. When the new ones come out, then wait for a sale on those? Like $220. It takes a new product to have the previous product to hit this price. I'd say go for it.

Sorry misspoke, you'd need to buy AppleCare+ through them which is a bit cheaper. I think the Staples deal with AC+ is still the slightly cheaper deal by a few bucks.

I think the price is high because it's apple. I've heard these and I purchased the buds plus afterwards. I didn't have a chance to spend more than a few minutes listening so some may have other opinions . Also 4 hours of battery vs the 8-10 hrs per ear bud out of buds plus.

You'll use these for at least 2 years so I'd say wait and buy the new ones which will have more features and potentially better battery life (which will matter more at 1+ years of use).
