I got the membership to purchase a higher priced item that was best priced at Sams club at that time, but havent shopped after that.

you already answered it. do you want to get your $45 gift card that you can literally use it in 1 stop, which comes out as a free membership.

or you get your chicken (if you can get it, sometimes the offer isnt there and you have to contact their customer service for that) and the stupid "gourmet" cakes, and you are still $20 short (if you count those freebies same as cash).

Does anyone know how the $45 GC work? I just signed up for membership, should I wait for 72hrs to get maybe an email? Or just go directly to the store and show the deal and ref#?

sams has a curbside pickup (some newer with drive through). this was a blessing during pandemic. costco does not provide this service unless u use their pricy instacart.

too bad they don't have deals on the plus membership.

Came out to $48.96. I used my Chase Freedom to get $10 back. Pretty good deal. I plan to go on Monday to get my card and the $45 gift card. We'll see how that goes.

We used this deal about 2 weeks ago went to the customer service counter got our membership online first then we gave the lady at membership our membership number she created our cards and gave us the $45 gift card we then spent another 55 to upgrade to the Plus and got another $10 gift card for upgrading to the Plus so in total it cost us 100 bucks to get the Plus and we got a total 55 back in gift cards
