The deals there ARE your front page deals - the ones that have been elevated, either by person or by algorithm, to try to sell me something that you deem a good deal worth my time (or worth your commission). At the time of my comment, this IS a frontpage deal.
You trying to convince me that the deals on your front page are not front page deals is just dumb.

I don't know what section of the homepage you are seeing this deal on, but it is not in frontpage deals - no negative rated deal will ever appear there.
There is a subtle but important difference.

Love it… you regularly interact with deals similar to this one, go to a page on the site designed to show you more deals like ones you've already interacted with previously, and get mad when it recommends similar deals you MIGHT like. Maybe if you stopped viewing deals like this and posting comments on them the site would stop recommending them to you… Try going to the "Frontpage" tab instead of the "For You" tab. Then maybe you won't get so mad at your own browsing habits.
B: I click on all kinds of postings for all kinds of reasons, not the least of which is to find out why something might be considered a good deal when, based on the title, it seems not to be. I like to learn from others as they have different life experiences than mine.
C: You've just highlighted one of the fundamental failures of algorithmic recommendations - especially when combined with less-than-altruistic ulterior motives.
D: Thank you for your attempt at helpfulness, while I appreciate your effort, it was not required in this instance.
