Just remember that you can only load one gift card into their app.
I love Chipotle but hate that they won't update their app to allow more, or just do like Starbucks and let you combine all of your gift cards into one.

they actually changed this recently. They do allow you to use a gift card with a lesser amount than your order. You can then use one debit or credit card to pay the remaining balance. This did not use to be the case, but does work now!

You pay using PayPal and your activated Discover card. You don't have to make your Discover card primary... you just have to use it when you pay via PayPal... but making your Discover card the default/primary with PayPal while Discover has 5% back is probably a good idea.

this has been an ongoing nonupdated issue with chipotle's app.
i'm not sure if it's only cali, but i believe all gift card values under $10 can be cashed out. i decided to do that with my last digital gc so that i could load my other digital gc. it took a little time to 'call the manager'- who never came then in between pickups the other cashier just did it. i think i'm going to just do that going forward if they don't change things but it is incredibly annoying to say the least.

Not anymore. The app allows you to split payment now. So if you are paying by gift card and it cannot cover the order, it allows you to pay the rest with a credit card.
