I have an appliance (washer/dryer) order from May 13th that they haven't been able to fulfill. The only time I have been disappointed in Costco's customer service.

In my experience to just have a price adjustment made they do ask for the receipt. I always keep my receipts for 30 days if I have an item that I think may go on sale. I don't believe food is excluded from price adjustments so I'd ask if I were you. Also the policy is 30 days. After 30 days you may still be able to get it depending on who you talk to.

You need a receipt for price adjustment.

It's 30 days, not 90 days.

They ask it just so that some one doesn't come back saying my price dropped like 5 times for the same thing. They can't link the price difference to that specific item order unless it's .com

Worst case return first and then re buy . Don't buy at lower cost and then try to return. It will only refund the latest purchase
