Free Ebook: "Mental Manipulation: The TOP 10 Manipulation Techniques, Learn How To Influence People, About Dark Psychology, Persuasion Tactics, Mind and Emotional Control, and Covert Mind Games" regularly $2.99.
Has the longest title of any book I've bought in a while :-)
Interesting book about how to manipulate people. Covers a lot of the basic techniques "bribery, gas lighting, fear-to-relief" and so on. Please only use for ethical purposes.

I am aware the term has been around for quite some time. In fact, Gaslight is one of my favorite films.
My comment was meant to be an indictment of when management types who believe their MBA from the University of Phoenix impresses everyone around them hears a term and then adopts the same as something they came up with. They drop the newfound term every chance they get and look douchier each time they say it.
Gaslighting has not been used in typical everyday conversations for most people, but now I hear it at least a few times a week and often incorrectly. I recently heard it's use from pundits in mainstream media.
Gaslighting reminds me of cringeworthy terms like "wheelhouse" or "bandwidth" often found in corporate parlance.
Yes, I just used parlance.
It would be unsafe to skip this offer.
