This is true, I got the Xbox Series S and though I knew what I was getting into, seeing all my old disc games sitting there is still a bit disappointing. However, I've found some older digital games for ridiculously low prices as well so it's a little bit of a consolation.

Hmmm an all digital console, w/ shit for storage… it's got just enough space for warzone/modern warfare/Cold War. Maybee enough left over for a couple 360 games.

Or, you know, 30+ smaller games for people who don't want to play 100gb+ games. It's literally the perfect game pass machine. I have one and as something to play indie titles/party games, it is literally perfect. Tiny, fast, quiet, cheap.

it's not at all perfect for gamepass because the amount of storage sucks.

if it had 2tb (pipe dream I know) then maybe. But I'd still hate it due to lack of power.

You're right, storage is free.

In reality, the only think I wish it had was a standard m.2 slot. Otherwise it's perfect for me because 500gb is plenty for my party games and $299 is a great price. I understand it's not perfect for everyone, which is probably why they made the X the main console.

You can purchase a 2-4 TB HD for less than $50-$100. Any SSD will make the transfer and load times even faster so it's worth it for those that don't want to spend the extra $200 for the SX
