I would as well. I was never impressed with the 4 or 5MP versions of the RLC-410... I have 2 of each and they are nowhere near the Amcrest IP8M-2496EW-V2's (8MP/4K) I have. Been running for about 2 years now.

Granted, I am not super happy with the amcrest either, but a lot better than the Riolinks

Too much "coupons" might as well say every day price.

Yeah but better read the big thread reolink in ipcamtalk for technical pro and contrra , especially during night/ motion blur/iframe

For general speaking , should work. Iframe would be much bother if you are care.

i prefer wireless, if such exist with this cam's specs. i've never connected PoE, not sure how it works. i use wyze. with custom fw i can run RTSP but last time i tried it had limitations so i went back to stock fw and app. for more expensive reolink or similar, with better specs, i want to record to sd (loop recording, if possible), and run blue iris or some other windows based software that will send alert notifications. don't need cloud storage and fees.

I got the rlc-510a and used it with a lorex nvr. Loading the view takes longer than other cameras I have on it. And right now it doesn't detect motion which I really need in the area that I have it. So if anything happens hard to pin point time. Might have to return it if I can't get motion detection working

hard to get a good wifi ip cam, having some hikvision 1080p cube rebranded (wifi and wired poe) in 2017 ; https://slickdeals.net/e/10789367-annke-security-i61dr-2mp-1080p-ip-security-camera-49-free-shipping-49-99?v=1&src=SiteSearch

one is wired and two are on wifi :-D, very solid performance, and the video quality is away better then SD "wifi" deal..

search on dahua and hikvision wifi (usually having wired poe), good luck! those are two only brands that I prefer much for ipcam. reolink is away below than dahua/hikvision.

yeah still selling 1080P wifi (refers to the top link) but price is $30 more than 2017= https://www.amazon.com/Hikvision-...155&sr=1-7

for placing outside the house , you can search 'dahua wifi camera"
ex: https://www.amazon.com/DAHUA-Vide...152&sr=1-6

I prefer dome model for outside due to slicknes , not to bold likes bullet or turret models hahah
once again good luck, get a GOOD ipcam, yeah price does not lie hahaha, at least buy 1 or 2 initiall for testing, not good? easy return to Amazon

this is for 4MP hikvision wifi /wired poe too : https://www.amazon.com/Hikvision-...155&sr=1-4

notes:
you can search rebranded dahua/hikvision wifi ipcam from amcrest, annke, and could be others, I usually search at ipcamtalk discusing rebranded ipcom for less much price

Thanks for the info. I've never done PoE. I understand it has to rely on router or pc ethernet port for power. I prefer wireless plugged into outlet or powerbank, like wyze cam. I can even put it inside my car when i'm homeless. With PoE if router or PC shut down during power outage, it'll take time to reboot. I prefer a simpler setup. Just wanted more expensive, better specs like reolink 4k. It would be an indoor camera, as long as stay in my apartment. Don't need super amazing anything but something better than crappy 1080/15fps or less in low light wyzecam. Even if not connected to anything i'd like to use high capacity sd card for loop recording, like dashcams. When i need to look at something important, it'll be on sd card.
