I checked out with Paypal and didn't get stuck like I did when trying Zagg's checkout and it kept the discount price.
I think I read that by default when the Apple pack is connected it limits the charge on the phone to 90% unless you override it. That's probably one of the biggest pros IMO in comparison to third party as it is much better for longevity. But yeah still overpriced.

I'd be all for the Apple pack even at the higher price if it didn't use Lightning. I only want to carry ONE power adapter and ONE type of cable when I travel. USBC wins. No thanks, Apple.
