Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

If you cannot afford the Omega, and need the best next thing as a Diver model, and do not want to spend anywhere close to $5K, ORIENT divers is the answer.

I googled 'Jomashop warranty issues' but don't find anything posted after 2018. Could this be a sign that there is no more issues with JS warranty?

STAY AWAY FROM JS (ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH END BRANDS THAT DO INHOUSE MOVEMENTS).

Bought a Tag Aquaracer (off SD) last year. Started losing time and the chrono would stop intermittently. Called JS and set up repair. Shipped to JS and long story short, they use 3rd party watchmaker for repair. They lost my watch to the repair facility. Whole ordeal took almost 6 weeks before they shipped my watch back. While its keeping better time now, they never fixed the chrono issue.

At this point, I just kept the watch and lesson learnt. Spend that extra $$$ and get it from a Authorized dealer and u get better warranty support (not to mention most dealer handle the repair process instore).

JS has been fine for me, saying that, I would never roll the dice and spend thousands of dollars on a watch just to be without the factory warranty.

It's one thing to be without warranty for a traditional 3 handed movement, but to be without factory warranty for a chronograph, the discount from the GM dealers just doesn't justify if it IMHO.

Yes. Laughable deal and Captain Shill should be more specific.
