It's cheap, but if you sit a chicken or duck on a beer can or hang the chicken or duck from some wires (with foils warapped around the wires), it will work just as well. I like using the beer can because I can drink the beer, and then put some water with rosemary or other herbs in it to give the bird some nice aroma as well as keeping it moist.

MSRP is $69.99 on sale for $19.99, which you can see on the list of accessories [masterbuilt.com] as opposed to the specific product listing. Actually I think it's clearance because it's listed there too. It also does include the motor as noted in the listing you linked. The smoker does not have the rotisserie motor built-in without this kit.

The link you have is for the Gravity Series kit not the one posted. The link is here: https://www.masterbuilt.com/colle...400-series. The website indicates that it's on clearance, it actually says "New Arrival", no one puts a new item on clearance. Does not make sense.

Unless you have the MES 400 series, Cabelas does not offer it (searching for it brings up only the MES 140).

I couldn't get the code to work but I am still in for one.
I don't have this type of smoker but I am going to rig up something to use in my WSM or Weber grill.

Not so sure about that. 4th picture on Amazon shows the motor. Description says: "PLUGS INTO YOUR SMOKER: DC powered motor easily plugs into your smoker"
