If you don't already know that a can of soup is full of sodium then that's on you. It is surprising that a can of savory soup has that much sugar in it.

Yes, true. anytime there's a lot of pasta or rice and tomato type stuff in soup, the carbs go up.

Beans too, but beans have a lot of fiber and are more complex carbs.

they add a lot of sugar to the tomato base they use too, probably where the added sugar is coming from. the rest from the lasagna noodles.
