Nope! I initially chatted with two reps via Best Buy chat who wouldn't match it. The second rep offered $150 off the sales price which I declined. I called and the representative matched the deal within ten minutes. Unfortunately my Q80T was defective with dirty screen effect, and I exchanged it for the 65" C1.

I picked up this deal over the weekend. After getting the settings dialed in, it has been great to watch the olympics. Highly recommend!

Bought a beat up one at MC for 1050, I don't think I'd pay the extra 700 but this is a killer deal if you can find one.

The ones they have labeled "refurbished"? And if so, what was beat up about it??

Yeah I was browsing for a 1400 dollar refurbished and noticed a 1050 dollar "open box refurbished". Reserved it, took it home, saw that it had a couple of small dings on the bezels around the right and bottom sides, screen had an almost unnoticeable hairline scratch about 3-4 inches. Back of the TV had some scuffs. I figured it was a 1400 dollar refurbed that someone dinged up trying to install and so they returned it. Had 160 hours of screen-on time. MC reduced the price to convince someone like me to keep it. It came in original box with all the original pieces and paperwork. Have to really scrutinize to see the dings in the bezels. I paid 220 for the 3 year protection with burn in and screen protection. Installed it myself.

I also saw they had 55 inch returbed for 1000 which likely would've been better condition than the 65. Decided to pay the extra 50 for extra screen real estate with some blemishes.

My closest store doesn't have these new for $1700, but what do y'all think about the refurbished ones for $1400? 65" CX that is.

Same experience I had. I got it from Samsung though and it took 6 weeks to arrive, but only paid 1050. Came with a bad panel, which they replaced right in my basement. Returned it for that Microcenter refurb deal on the CX 65 inch for 1299. I got one with only 10 hours on it. Extremely happy with my decision.
