Positives:
Lightweight - only 249 grams with the battery installed so you don't need to register it
Easy to set up and take off
Has much longer range than the Phantom 3 Standard
About 23 min of real world flight time per battery
2.7 K cam is quite good
Remote control is light - you don't need a lanyard and wear it around your neck lol
Fits in a baggy pocket!
Accessories are cheaper than the Phantom series.
Negatives:
This does about 25mph (ish) in sport mode when when I had my giant Phantom cruising over 40mph.
Very light. Downside of that is wind. I've had my Phantom up over 1100 feet (controlled and messaged it in) with no warnings. If I fly this even about 200 feet high I get a warning that says: "High Wind Warning. Cannot Initiate Return to Home. Lower Altitude and Return To Home Manually" - or something like that. Never had any real issues with that warning, I just get a few heavy and nervous heartbeats and then lower the drone and the warning has always gone away. My biggest fear is that I consistently take my drones out of range. If that happened when it was out of range would RTH kick in and work? I am not confident either way so best to keep this one flying lower.
Just wanted to throw in my thoughts. I think this is a good deal and if I could get this again, I probably would.
Occusync is your friend and is not on this drone. You have to get the mini2 or the air2 or air2s for that.\
I've see those drones fly 3 miles away in the city. The drone on this deal can't do that. If that's no biggie, then this is a fantastic deal. This drone will take amazing photos, amazing video and is super stable and steady when you are flying it. Looking at my ipad screen while flying this and it feels like the drone is set on a tripod. It's that smooth.
If you're willing to splurge ($450 for just the drone), the Mavic Mini 2 has a 4K camera and uses OcuSync 2.0 as opposed to wifi.

This drone is likely better than anything else in this price range. It's really incredible what you get for the price.

Skydio 2 would probably be the best drone for this purpose and it starts around $1300. This is a significantly larger drone, that is designed for this type of function.
To be more specific: Skydio is the only drone for this purpose. Autel and DJI's drone do not respond well to altitude changes and they do not track well. They are really only good at tracking a single subject in a relatively open space.

This would be first drone for me, so part of me wants to go latest and greatest, but the prudent part of me things grabbing something slightly cheaper and almost as good might be a better bet.

I would NOT buy this drone because of the lack of 4k and occusync 2.0. Spend a little more and get the Mini 2.
