Your cc posted the transaction that fast? Mine stay in pending for 2-3 days
It still says "pending" on my amex for both the $1 authorization and the $1300+ of the laptop, but unlike other authorizations, it actually is showing up as balance owned (with a lower available credit to boot)

Please note, this is an authorization hold only, not an actual charge. Your card will be charged at the time your order ships.

This is confusing for me because I see the same exact thing on my credit card account. My available credit decreased the total amount paid for the Laptop, but in the email Lenovo sent on the bottom it clearly states "This is an authorization hold only, not an actual charge. Your card will be charged at the time your orders ships."

I most likely just have to wait a couple of days to confirm, but my understanding is this is like any other charge - it's just waiting to be executed. Google says an authorization charge can last up to 90 days.

The shipping time for 3070 is 3+ months. It's been the same for days. The glitch was that neither the price nor the shipping time changed to the correct one.

That's plenty of time for Lenovo to cancel these orders.

Just got an alert that the purchase posted to my credit card for the full amount. Is this a good sign that the order will not be cancelled?
Hopefully this isnt like one of those HP affairs where the order is delayed to infinity.
No, mine went to the cc immediately after order, plenty of time to cancel. It could very well be

I don't think they'll cancel. The Legion Pro with 3070, 2x 1TB SSD, 16GB ram was going for $1700 with perksatwork a few weeks ago (preconfigured). This is $300 off that, with an additional 16GB ram. A great deal, but not like it's sub-$1k or a stupid price like that.

Yeah, and that our orders were apparently above their "price floor", gives it a pretty good chance. Although the fact they brought the coupon back with the glitch fixed tells us it was really a coupon error.

Another good sign is that they implemented a price floor on the website to catch people being able to order at below some preset cost. It MAY mean they are prepared to sell at above that cost.

Good luck to all who got in! Unfortunately I was just a little too late and wasn't permitted to check out. I had a big Yoga 9i on the hook but the line broke two yards from my net. Facepalm

I mean, especially if they don't have to fulfill some orders until November… I think we might be good

I see the full charge pending on my card. R10 also sent an email confirming my cashback. Fingers crossed that this actually goes through!

Just ordered one for $1067 with RTX 3070, will return the one I just got with 3060. Biggest glitch of the year.
I don't see the glitch

I got in early on this and the order went through. I got the maxed out Legion Pro 5.

Shortly after purchasing I got an email saying my order has been selected for further review and they wanted to contact me. It also says that if you do not respond within 3 business days the order will be automatically cancelled.

Anyone else get this email?

So we all upgraded to a 2nd 1tb drive. What size is the first or is that just a typo?

Second Solid State Drive
Video Games and content are not getting any smaller. Make you have enough storage for your needs.

Got the same email and a call I didn't pick up. I'll play dumb and see how it goes unless someone else answered and has insight?

Supposedly the first drive is 1TB and can't be changed. So the L5 17" model is really 1TB + 1TB.
