Probably will get canceled I know.
However, still went to the email that read "Thanks for your order .....", and clicked the order status button. That link shows a download button, which lets you see the detailed status of the product. I can see it reads "Released to Manufacturing", not sure what it means though. I think previously it read "Received"?

By the time Black Friday comes along, which is around the time these laptop are scheduled to be delivered, the price for the Lenovo 5 will reflect the price we paid today.

Jumped on this right away for the Legion 5 3070 for $1200 including tax! I regret not buying the Alienware m17 3070 for $1600 w/ tax but this is a better deal! I think it's better than my msi gs75 2070 maxq. Hopefully it doesn't get cancelled for everyone, goodluck!

No. Not with a Ryzen 7, 3070, 32GB of RAM, 2 TB of SSD storage, and a QHD display. That'll still be around 2k even on Black Friday.

So, when Black Friday arrives you can order it then & wait for another 2-3 months for it to be delivered. And by the time Black Friday orders are delivered we will probably have newer gaming laptop models out!!

Where are you seeing this status, in the "order visibility portal" or somewhere else? Their little widget only shows 3 possible points: Ordered, Expected to Ship, and Expected to Arrive.
