I think I've decided against keeping my 17" in case you are interested if you cover shipping I could send it your way. Although my ship date also hasn't updated yet so not really sure when it will arrive.

For instance, the Legion Pro says First and Second.

Somewhere in these 47 pages someone said its a misprint or whatever and the device comes with just 1 drive of the size you selected. Hopefully that info is not correct but its all I have found as of yet to go off.

So I decided to look at my order details today, no particular reason just wanted to see if anything changed. I'm pleased to find that my expected to ship date has been moved all the way up to August 20th and I'm expected to receive August 27th. That's much sooner than waiting until November/December.

After reading the specs and the parts list, my understanding is that the 17" comes with a 500GB 2242 as first drive (boot drive). The selected "second" drive is the second drive, 1TB 2280.

Awesome thanks for confirming, BTW I jumped on this deal without reading the OP thoroughly. On the lenovo page I read in order to get 3070 need to change to 16GB and SSD. Chose 512 GB and went down to check if the 3070 was selectable. Went to the cart and completed the order, did not change to the 1TB. I was worried 512 GB is all I got, but now feel better. Still an Amazing deal by a mile.

Honestly you should keep the expectation low. It's not clearly defined, and all I've read is it only comes with one drive.
