But to what end? One person saying theirs didn't ship doesn't tell you how many DID ship. They might have shipped 40%, 70%, or 99.9% of outstanding orders... or 100% of orders that didn't have payment or shipping address issues.

It doesn't matter whether ALL shipped, the only thing that matters is did YOURS ship.

I stand by my contention that nobody here can possibly know whether Lenovo shipped all orders, especially in light of idiosyncratic payment/shipping scenarios.

Regardless, it's moot.
I mean sure but wasn't looking for a whole statistical breakdown or to solve for what percentage - if a few people chimed and said theirs didn't then it would show there are volleys ( most likely) but also gives hope for those still waiting that a number did ship.

Congrats everyone who held out! With the coming communist invasion of Taiwan (the real China), it could be a while before you get another!
That's why I ordered a bunch! 😉

I'm curious as to whether other people's orders are shipping direct from China? That's what my tracking shows... which seems unusual. Or does Lenovo typically do this?

I've received any number of laptops and desktops from both Dell and HP in the last year and they all have originated from domestic addresses.

Yes, unless you are ordering a pre-built/pre-assembled, Lenovo orders are assembled and shipped from China.

Grab your serial number off the order sheet. Go to Lenovo support, put in the serial number, click on parts on the left and select commodity type at the top. Mine shows 2 1TB SSDs. L5 17.

Legion 5-17ACH6H Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 82JY
SAM PM981a 1T M.2 PCIe 2280 SSD - Installed 1
HNY PC711 1T M.2 PCIe 2280 SSD - Installed 1

Memory is 2 different manufacturers.

SoDIMM,8GB,DDR4,3200,Samsung - Installed 2
SODIMM,8GB,DDR4,3200,Hynix - Installed 1

I am confused by the installed remark.
Where is the order sheet? I don't see a s/n on any of my emails.

So seeing that the parts list show that the legion 5 17 is coming with two pcie ssd,

I guess the debate that it comes with 1 pice and 1 mechanical hdd can now be rested.

Don't get your hopes up with the 2 SSDs listing yet. I bought a 1TB Legion 7 last week, and it also listed two SSDs on that page.

It doesnt make sense to have two different manufacturer RAM modules installed. So I don't think that parts list is accurate.

Aren't these just compatible replacement parts?
Yes - these do not indicate which parts are in your system.

I believe that if you ordered 2x8 GB, then it will be both samsung. If you went with 1x8GB, it would be Hynix
