You should see their line of indoor products. Can't recall the name…

I don't think he or she was expecting something seaworthy just water resistant. A misnomer, nothing more. If you spent half as much time thinking as typing you'd be a millionaire.

BTW, there is no such thing as "waterproof," only levels of water resistance. So you spent all that time feigning superiority yet fell flat on your face. "😂" indeed!!

Nothing like a truly inspired company name to set you apart from the crowd
Crowd? Maybe you need Big Agnes or Marmot, but bring more money. Fun aside, other people don't give a rats about the tent brand one uses.

My son has been begging for his first tent, specifically color green. This came at the perfect time. In for 1.
I think you might have misheard him when he said "I just wanna see some tents!"

Review said it's not waterproof
Every tent I've ever bought or looked at seriously had a few people saying it's not waterproof. With any tent you should seal the seams and semi-regularly apply water repellant to the rain fly.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/V-I-P-...t/52130847

https://www.amazon.com/Gear-Aid-Sealant-Tents-Clear/dp/B000O71L6Q/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=polyu... [amazon.com]

For further protection you can hang a tarp above the tent, but I don't generally find that to be necessary.

I have no personal experience with this brand, but I've used plenty of cheap tents like Ozark Trail and Coleman, and with a little bit of upkeeping I've never had problems with them even in monsoon conditions. Of course we just do car camping/glamping. If you're in a situation where your life could depend on your tent protecting you, obviously things are different, but I can't imagine anybody is using a tent like this in those situations.

I think... A little thought would be helpful here.... I'll help you out... If a thing is water proof... Then it's also going to be air tight... Like a plastic bag.... See where I'm going here... So... If you read the description, I don't think you did.... But if you did.... You would have seen where they describe how good the airflow is in the tent... If you have good... Or great airflow... Which is highly desired as long as one would wish to live.... You don't really expect, that same thing, to be water proof... Just water resistant... Like the description actually says! But I'm sure everyone here will actually think things through... I did! 😂
DId you even read the review to which @arctic513 was referring? Not only did the buyer say it's not waterproof, they also said it's not water resistant.

I would just look if it's going to rain in the forecast and not go camping then.

21 lbs according to amazon. seems very heavy
here is a link to Amazon listing:
Outdoor Products 4 Person / 6 Person / 8 Person / 10 Person Instant Cabin Tent https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081413...HNRY?psc=1

2 reviews on Walmart site are useless, comments are useless. go to Amazon site and read reviews and Q&A there.

Also, follow EtherGnat advice on page 2, there are 2 links to sealer products. Apply the Amazon link product sealer on the fully extended tent to the stitching and reapply once a year (read comments on Amazon product page)

Ever camped in Yellowstone or Glacier National Park, or Rocky Mountains? Probably don't want to go home because of rains.Smilie

How many people can fit comfortably in this tent? I'm guessing 3/4?

That's part of the adventure. The story of how the entire family got soaked will live on for years. That's a feature, really

Well for my liking it only fits two. Unless my wife is feeling open minded in which case three. And no, I'm not open minded.

"A company name? Gee, I don't know Bob. We sell outdoor products and we're terribly boring, uncreative people who don't like to think abstractly. Where does that lead us?"

Tentz & Shiz was already taken, I guess?
