BTW, there is no such thing as "waterproof," only levels of water resistance. So you spent all that time feigning superiority yet fell flat on your face. "😂" indeed!!

For further protection you can hang a tarp above the tent, but I don't generally find that to be necessary.
I have no personal experience with this brand, but I've used plenty of cheap tents like Ozark Trail and Coleman, and with a little bit of upkeeping I've never had problems with them even in monsoon conditions. Of course we just do car camping/glamping. If you're in a situation where your life could depend on your tent protecting you, obviously things are different, but I can't imagine anybody is using a tent like this in those situations.

Also, follow EtherGnat advice on page 2, there are 2 links to sealer products. Apply the Amazon link product sealer on the fully extended tent to the stitching and reapply once a year (read comments on Amazon product page)
