@din9leberry - Great job! I stumbled upon this deal this morning, as our Breville blender gave us a smoky finish last night, and I was just about to post this as my first post ever, lol! Good for you on nabbing your first post; I'll keep searching for my moment too.
For those looking at the 5300 that Sam's Club sells for $349, this is widely considered to be the better unit. More updated, slightly more powerful motor, much less noisy, and the blender jar on this unit does a better job with smoothies. Both come w/the 7 yr warranty.
Hope it lives up to expectations and is a true buy it for life product!

Our ninja was on its last legs a couple weeks ago so purchased a blendtec and have been sorely disappointed. I know Vitamix is not Blendtec but they both receive rave reviews and both are known to be higher end. We make smoothies all the time and I just don't think the blendtec is cut out for it, perhaps this one is as you mentioned better smoothies, but honestly wish I would have just stuck with another cheap ninja.
Americas Test Kitchen highly recommends Vitamix overall. Check out their review of high end blenders. It's not for this specific model. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dlSYg43TUY
I've been watching for a long time.
What is the 7500 level? Is it suitable for families?
yes but it now don't wait, the warranty pays for itself. The ascent series has a 10 year warranty but much more expensive. The 7500 is somewhat quieter than the 5200 model.

I have the 3300 which I like, but I used my sister in laws 5200 and kind of prefer the manual controls. I would consider just getting this if I were in your situation. I was almost thinking of selling my 3300 and just going with this. The ascent series has some cool stuff though, like the personal cups (a few of which I have) as well as the food processor attachment.

never buy blendtec, vitamix is leagues better than any other brand.
It's a game changer, had ninja which was so loud that I had to put on ear plugs. Been using this since last month, best thing! I picked up a A2300 bundle from Costco for $449

Newbie to vitamix here, I bought the E320 bundle from costco a couple of weeks ago, looking at original price, this is 530, and E310 is 350 (I guess E320 is ~$400-450?).
is it worth it to return the E320 bundle and get the 7500? or would I not notice the difference at all? I mainly use it for smoothies.
