Sadly it looks like it's dead. My wife was thinking about it and then "poof". "No think only buy" should be the slickdeals motto.

I called and they were able to get me one even though every color was sold out. They got me a black one, which sold out first

Glad to see a lot of discussion about how this compares to other brands (e.g. BlendTec, Ninja, etc.) and opinions based on personal experiences.

I'm curious if anyone has exp with the Wolf Gourmet High-Performance Blender and how it compares to this model aside from differences in pure specs, warranty, location of manufacturing, etc. Looking more for insight around what you like or don't like over the other, or challenges experienced, etc.

I've Googled the specs and know the data sheet differences, understand that Wolf is manufactured in China, and the shorter warranty. Really hoping to hear some real world experiences and opinions given there's not a lot of Wolf reviews online and none really comparing these exact models against each other, though they're priced relatively similar, I think.

BTW I should note that I recently bought the Wolf blender from HomeGoods for $275 a couple weeks back but haven't opened it, and just ordered this Vitamix 7500, so will eventually do my own comparison.

I doubt anyone here would spend this kind of price range for other blender than Vitamix.

Even if that blender (over)perform initially, Vitamix owners would never buy it. Vitamix is well known to last and perform even long past warranty period. Most of the time, people don't buy another blender again. When they do, they likely upgrade, and stick with Vitamix.

It would take the other blender few generations to build some sort of good reputation, to build a consumer base. Even then, unlikely Vitamix owners would switch though, as Vitamix non digital blender is getting cheaper. Vitamix even sells smaller model now (Vitamix One)

We have a ninja and it's a hunk of sh*t. Barely use it though so I'm holding off on this gem.

No need to tell you, you just need to read more and be told less.

Mine just showed up today and the cord was bound with a rubberband. Are these refurbished and being passed off as new, or is everyone's arriving this way?

Mine arrived the same way and that was my exact same thought/reaction!

I was also expecting it to be packaged in a more dedicated product box within the shipping box, but assume maybe they've taken an eco friendly approach to using less materials. I don't know but that also made me think that it's possibly a repackaged unit. It also came pretty dusty.

Now that I have it in-person, I was expecting something a little nicer aesthetically. Maybe I don't now what I was expecting, but as my previous post noted I already have a Wolf blender and bought this 7500 to compare the performance. The Wolf definitely wins on aesthetics but performance head-to-head is TBD. Maybe the A3500 is the one I really want. I need to see it in-person.

Same here - rubber banded power cord, no original box packaging.

Edit: comes with a recipe book, split into two sections - French and English.
