We've gotten the big upright vacuum out about twice.
It requires a lot more maintenance than other vacuums (emptying, cleaning, de-hairing), but being able to leave the house or go to bed and wake up to a cleaned house is amazing. We run it 4-5x a week.
We still mop by hand, and I'd recommend that for most. My model has a "dumb" mop function, but I can't imagine any mop function doing much.
I was also looking at the s5 max, but I'm glad we have the superior mapping of the S6 series. I've only had a couple of issues with it, but resetting the map has always fixed that.

Got the S6 during a previous sale for about $440. Have been pretty happy with it so far. We have three cats so it's nice to have this thing running a few times a week. Can't say anything about the mopping function as we never use it.
Minor issues:
- It sometimes loses it's way and tries to dock in the wrong room where I used to have the docking station.
- The dust container is fairly small, makes me wish their new auto-empty station was compatible with the S6 instead of just the S7 (this would be a reason for me to wait for a deal on the S7).
- This one is super minor but consider it a nice-to-have: their app is not optimized for tablets.
