Check reviews, it's a dice roll whether you get a good unit or not. Mostly you either get a unit that will hold charge or you get one that doesn't. The last thing you want is to need this and the battery is dead.

I did check reviews online, but some reviews are dicey saying that unit not holding charge, not enough charge, etc.etc.. Those are ppl who probably are not following instruction manual.

It clearly states that the unit needs to be charged for 40 hrs upon receipt, and needs to be re-charged every 30 days.. Honestly that's the thing that is turning me off.. having to remind and make sure to charge the unit every month, but i guess that's how power stations work.

If this is a CAT jumper, does it purr when the battery is charged and meow when the battery health is bad?

Wink

Like how long should it stay charged or how long can you use it on a charge?

The life frame of these devices. I would keep it plugged in. But never needed to use it.

The other week I went to use it, and the device holds no charge and just dies.

So you keep it for emergencies. But when you need it, it doesn't work. So that's why I was curious the life time.
