  4. Make purchases at any of the following stores to begin earning the 5% Cashback Bonus:

I am with discover since long but everytime I click on his deal and login it directs me to my account main page. I asked customer service and she has no clue but says maybe the deal is for Discover IT or Discover MORE members only, (I checked terms and condition where i was hidden in fine print). I have no clue what that is. If hat is the case then this post heading needs updated as for Discover IT or Discover MORE customers only.

Mine also has additional notes to the right (which I clipped for the pic) that tell me if they have any FTF, any special interest rates offered for a period of time, specific stores. try calling and getting your rewards card program switched. i just did that and it worked.

they sure did make fun of you. i had one since back in the 80s where sears was the only place that would take one, i think the discover card was issues by some place called greenwood. for some reason i think i got the card because it allowed you to revolve with no annual fee and they were offering much bigger credit lines than the $200 you would get with a sears card. you could buy anything at sears from tvs to clothes to cameras and vcrs and car tires, oil changes, repairs, etc. love those diehard batteries.

Happened to check my Target circle offers and have an offer for 10% off gift cards up to $500 purchase, expiring tomorrow...guessing it's certain accounts only but worth a look. I don't see any exclusions on type of purchase for the Discover 5% so should work, right?

Ok thanks. I am Platinum honors holder but didnt think like it was coming out as 5%. Silly me!! Smilie
