May be a good deal, may not, but just be aware that these Adorama "deals" are ads posted weekly directly from SD admins, and boosted to look better and drive affiliate revenue.
I picked up a similar set for a friend, but had to test them out and get everything setup for him since he's new to sound systems. I had the mains as a stand-alone stereo setup, the smaller pair mated to a large sub to fill in the theater low end, and added an amp and headphone port internal to the center channel to make a portable mono speaker. I was shocked how good these sound for the money, even with lower output amps.

Yes, they're owned by Klipsch, but they started as their own company and were simply acquired. Klipsch strives to make flat/reference speakers which cost a lot. Jamo strives more for what is pleasing to human ears. So they're not perfect, but they are pleasant to listen to for extended times. Like even audiophiles can respect them.

I built all of my speakers to achieve my goals for under $10k, but if I had it to do over, I'd save the time and effort and stick with Jamo. My mains are Zaph Audio BAMTM (~$250 to build) and surrounds are Parts Express C-notes (~$100/pair). As for subwoofers, those you still have to pay to play and I'd avoid Jamo. SGS sells complete sub kits, so that would be an ideal and affordable theater pairing to shake the neighbor's house. Or BIC PL-200 II for a more reasonable turn-key solution.

I bought the same set with a sub and setup the two towers and sub since the center was back ordered. For a small living room the sub was really pumping out sound. The towers are okay. They sound a bit hollow with dialouge but very good. I got a used Denon x2400 and have to crank it to 70 volume so these take a lot of power to run loudly. This deal doesn't include a sub but for $400 I don't think you can get a better looking and better sounding set.

If this is an ad, it needs to say that per the FTC.

I bought the same deal 4 months back and couldnt be any happier. I am a newbee when it comes to speakers so my experience with surround aound is limited but for a room, these are more than enough and are worth this price.

Lol. What are are you talking about. You mean like how every ad says THIS IS AN AD on it? Oh wait, no, they don't say that. Because it's not a thing. Ads can't be deceptive, but this thing you're saying is a thing isn't a thing.

maybe not better looking (especially considering having to rotate one of the bookshelfs), but 5x sscs5s for 180ish is the better bang for your buck imo

*will have to find someone to split a pair with you

Like your idea . I have both Sony and JaMo. I think Sony has better sound overall but Sony needs sub. JaMo looks better overall. Sony work easy with cheap amp ( T amp to a several thousand dollars amp) Jamo did change sounds by amp a lot. I did hookup with McIntosh reciver did just ok and hook up Monolith ( dual mono) with McIntosh preamp create amazing sounds. Very natural and transparent sounds even compare to my Maganpan 1.7.

You need an AVR 5.1 above capabilities if you plan to add more speakers.
