For anyone curious, this will significantly crop almost of your photos. We learned the hard way with another 16:9 photo frame. Most smartphones photos are 4:3, while most camera are 3:2 or 4:3.

It's not terrible, but we won't buy another 16:9 photo frame because of it. You can workaround via a pan to "scroll" through a photo, but then you can't ever see the whole picture all at once.

Samsung's frame is a tv and when turned off looks like framed art. This isn't a tv but just a digital frame like Meural. I have not used this product but own both Samsung's frame and Meural and like them both a lot. If you want a tv then use the frame. It's also a lot more expensive though

The Lenovo requires the use of Google Photos, the Samsung Frame is more flexible with hdmi, smart tv features, etc.

If you are a Google Photos user, this is slick.

So is this 1080p resolution? It doesn't state anywhere in the listing. Just says FHD, which to me, is 1080p.

What I can't figure out is whether it has to be plugged in all the time (ugly wire) - but it sounds like it.

Different uses. Id not want a 21" frame, something picture sized for a living room so place on a side table or something.
