I own two of these. The newer one I got is built a little different and is glitchy vs my older one. I wouldn't buy this again. Go with quality NOCO. I also have other brand of chargers. Battery tender (the bigger one), Aukey, and craftsman?) They are all glitchy. A couple has overcharged my car battery. The old black and decker one is still solid. But the best is NOCO hands down, one of the best!

B&D maintainer caused my Viper's battery to boil over way back in 2006. I vowed never again to B&D, which of course hasn't been particularly difficult.

Guess where the battery is in a Gen 2 Viper: inside the driver's rear wheel well. What a beautiful PITA
