Pay to support app develops so they keep adding updating and adding features. It's all of $3..
Same here. I usually strip the drm from Kindle files, xfer to epub, and then listen to the books using voice to text with this.
Years ago my then 8th grader figured out it had a built in browser and used that to get around my screen limiting/censoring security apps to get access to porn.
I've had this app for years. Love it, used text to speech to read me books on my commute.

Moon+ Reader Pro is the best epub reader I have found, the ability to alternate reading and having it read to me is what won me over. It's a good pdf reader too. I highly recommend it at full price, and at this price it's very slick.
It is, hands down, the best ebook reading app I have ever seen (Md I tried an awful lot). One couldn't ask for a more feature rich and polished product.

Is this the best text to speech for reading ebooks? Do I need to strip the DRM from books to read it as someone else mentioned doing? I'm unsure if this is necessary though.
What's going to buy it and clicked on "See Deal" on my Android device, it opened up the app in the Play store, and apparently I had already purchased it. Guess I'll try it out

Morality aside, there's enough security problems with legit apps. Hacked apps are 5 level up of wild west. No matter what, your credit card and bank info is in others' hands, it's a matter of what extent and who.
I am all in for open software and the reasons behind it. Now adays, moded apps are more about insta-0wning people and not a mentality to keep software open and free.
There is much open software, hacked software is not automatically the same as open and free.
I mainly get ebooks from the library and also get some kindle ebooks , I believe they're all DRM protected? Guess I can't use this app to read those?
I believe you would have to use a computer program to strip the DRM. I have done this a few times. It's a pain to set up and a pain to do each time. DRM is awful and discourages me from buying books, especially from Amazon.

I mean piracy is always a risk. Knowing where to not download from minimises it to an extent.
It's also why I didn't keep any credit card info or saved passwords on my Android tablet. iPhone I'm more comfortable with.
I've owned this app for years. As much as I want to like it, I am not a fan of the user interface. To each, their own. It just feels clunky to me. I didn't realize there was a read-aloud feature until reading this thread and will give that a shot. I just use it as a standard PDF reader but prefer Acrobat and Office Mobile to it. I'll have to give it another try and see what I think.

I paid for the rest with credit from the Google Opinion Rewards surveys.
Ah cool. I got that too. It's time I should use it. Thanks!
