Tip: Wash these tees inside out in cold water, and air dry (or air dry as much as possible) to extend the life.

I own a lot of "woot" tshirts and I can honestly say they are barely worth $7.50. The designs are far too often misprinted on the shirt (bad alignment, crooked, not centered, etc.) and they wash horribly even in cold water. You really do have to wash them in a light load of clothes on gentle.

$5 each is the right price for these and then they are probably not something you are gonna wear much.

Most are ringspun cotton.

The way the cotton is woven makes them very thin but soft to the touch. This causes them to wrinkle. No one wants to iron the wrinkles out of a tshirt before you put it on.
But I have never had a problem with the actual printed graphic peeling or coming off... so, there's that.

I don't mind the quality of the shirt it's self. But the printing on it always starts to crack quickly for me. Life is too short to mess around too much with my washer settings (default on a modern water/energy saver washer) though I do try to flip them inside out.

I have one particular shirt from them that I really like. I tend to have to replace it once every 2 years. I generally grab a new one the next time it is on sale when the current one starts to look shabby.

I've actually considered duplicating the pattern on it and having it printed in a higher quality elsewhere. I tried to find the author of the shirt to see if I could get a license for it since I would like to support them directly, but they don't have any contact info available. The shirt was designed fairly early in the days of woot, It might be 10+ years old at this point, I couldn't find an exact date on it.

It is little astronauts putting together DNA. It fits very well with the recent biotech crispr gene editing technologies which is an area I work in.

https://shirt.woot.com/offers/nanonauts is the shirt if anyone else is interested.

I own tons of these shirts, as does my family and friends. They are soft and high quality cotton and very comfortable. Thin/thick is subjective - feel substantial but not too thick to me.
Highly recommend washing inside out (regular cold cycle) and mostly air drying to preserve the design. A few min in the dryer and then on a drying wrack = few wrinkles. Sorry to those who haven't had good experiences.

Also for those of you on the fence - they are very good at replacements and refunds if you don't like the quality. I've had refunds without having to return the shirts and others I know have too.
