The average male in the U.S. is 5'9" and 200 lbs. The average female is 5'3.5" and 170 lbs. 43% of Americans as of 2019 are obese according to the CDC.
Bought this chair from Costco last year for $40. It's for adult, very comfortable, and at $40, it's a great value
Based on the sizing of most of the clothes at Costco, I'd say yes.
edit: One of the reviewers suggested the chair is too small and it's for teenaged sized people or small females. He also claimed he's 5' 10" and 210 pounds. Unless this person is a body builder, he's technically obese. Yet, he thinks he's the normal one and the chair is for small people. I never thought obesity would become normalized for adults in this country.

It's not the technology. It's the business model. Costco isn't interested in pursuing an online focused selling model. They want you in their stores. There's a reason why a lot of items are priced cheaper in stores than their website.
I thought it was just a shipping type thing where it's priced differently to cover for shipping.
Yet more people have to move to the city than ever now. Bad food is cheap, good food is expensive. People are just lalzy, don't cook, watch tv and day and get spoon fed crap from morons about science.
Also. Fat people. Get a standing desk, skip this chair.
I love how people are thumbing you down for telling the truth. Some folks are in denial and live by the "ignorance is bliss" saying..🤣
I am just now seeing this deal and I need a new chair. I may swing by my Costco on my way to work in a bit or call there to see if they will tell me. Seems like a good deal. I'm small and 5 foot. Well I just called and was told not carried in any of our Kentucky stores. Wish I had seen this yesterday. My husband had just told me the other day we needed new chairs.
I've been to some of those larger ones (10 lanes wide) and even then they are still 6 to 8 cars deep. I guess gas isn't that much cheaper at Costco then other stations near you. I've seen it as much as 60 cents a gallon cheaper at Costco then Chevron or Shell. Haven't checked Arco. but even gas prices can be 20 cents a gallon cheaper at one Costco over another in the area. well a bit of a ways away so not worth the drive but if I'm out in that direction I'll definitely stop at that one.
Here in SoCal, I haven't seen that much difference between local Costco stations, at most, maybe 5c or so. But, of course as you said, they're always cheaper than any Shell or Chevron (although I haven't seen a 60c difference). I just checked Gasbuddy, and it shows today the price for regular is $3.89 at the closest Costco, and $4.05 at ARCO, and $4.35 at a nearby 76 station. Obviously, ARCO is the place to go if you don't have Costco or Sam's membership. Still higher than Costco but not outrageous like 76 or Shell. And just a few months ago (Dec '20) we were paying $2.59 at Costco. We're getting royally screwed here in CA. Nothing you can do about it except move. Not ready to do that...yet.
Just assembled today. I'm 6ft tall and this chair is definitely too small for me in terms of back support. The arms of the chair are also weirdly proportioned.

Same... im 5'6" and the top of the chair is about 6"-9" below my shoulders.
If you have ever comically sat in a toddlers chair and surprisingly fit... thats what sitting in this feels like. The arms are super skinny and kinda narrow. My elbows almost have to touch my sides to rest on the arms.
I second the weird proportions. If you take a step back and look its just oddly designed. This one is going to be annoying to return.

Because it's non constructive complaints. Yeah sure enjoy your life in the rural. But dont hate on the city life.
