Other than an overhead light that every car has being brighter (by placement/design) these indeed can be turned off or on and check this out - can be dimmed or brightened.
There is literally nothing you can say that is helpful for anyone wanting to buy one. You just sound like folks that are in the wrong place.
They could even be used as a single orange/yellow tint to help visibility just like the overhead light every car has. a very practical use case.... never thought of that huh?

Oh and you would also likely distract other drivers at nighttime with bright flickering lights.
