Keeping in mind that most pediatricians don't want babies sleeping with blankets until they are nearly 15 months old, due to suffocation risks and increase in SIDS. Most baby blankets are now sheer material like maudlin cotton weave for max ventilation. Sherpa is super dense, not permeable and not ventilated, so it's basically putting a pillow over your baby's entire body they can easily suffocate on. These kinds of baby blankets went away with crib bumper guards in 2014.

Lol insane how everything is a danger lurking around the corner. How did humanity get this far? My kids were fine with blankets.

I know it kills me, but my wife slaps blankets out of my hand when I try to put them on our lil guy. They gotta wear this sleep sack flying squirrel suit now.

So you're arguing that we shouldn't try to increase the chances of babies surviving?

That's what I am saying.... Let's put babies back in a basket on the floor of the car.
