For less than $10 you can get a 4-pack of automatic LED night lights at your local big box home store which are also UL-/ETL-listed:

Good luck!

The only thing noteworthy here is that when a user posts an item from Amazon this enables Slickdeals to earn money from the Amazon affiliate program.

A night light is plugged in all day and night. As such, a night light without UL-/ETL-listing should not be considered a slick deal.

Good luck!

Apples and Oranges: the CE mark is a statement by the manufacturer and nothing else. The CE mark is incredibly common because it has a very low bar. Allow me to cite the European Commision's own page on CE marking [europa.eu]:

Contrast this with UL and ETL which requires that a 3rd party both receive your product for inspection as well as allow for inspection of other elements such as the manufacturing process (depending upon the associated safety standards, which happen to be written by UL).

Good luck!
Jon

I bought these years ago. I do not know if the issue has been fixed in the meantime, but mine will flicker if you are near them with an iPhone that has Face ID.

I think the Face ID camera emits IR light flashes that confuse these lights.

Thanks for sharing the links for similar lights.
I am wondering if there is anything slick about this deal that I am unable to understand? Probably eufy brand is supposed to be a higher quality?

I got them because we usually use no-name brand night lights, and the bright white LED is a bit jarring at night. These have a nice warm orange glow with a hood that projects the light down, so it feels more natural and it doesn't blind you.

I got a similar deal for mine a month or two ago and I've really liked them so far.

I was considering this until I saw the top review, which shows photos of the burnt plug and outlet, and the top question, in which a response says the company said the light is not UL certified.

I've bought so many of these dang these from various companies and they all end up failing. I finally got one thats not meant for the toilet and just used 3M double sided tape to place it next to the toilet paper dispenser facing the toilet. It still lights up the area, although not as bright. It hasn't failed or fallen off. Much better than the hanging ones.

And yet the local Dollar Tree has options cheaper than the listing here (at $2 each) that still manage to be ETL-listed.

Good luck!

I get a pack of these lights from walmart [walmart.com] and take off the plastic part and turn them upside down. I've done this for years and I love them. So much smaller and cheaper. Literally have one on behind me right now.

I've got these anker ones and i'm happy with them.
Nice warm yellow light and the sensor is nice.
although they can be sensitive to slight changes in ambient light.

$7 for four lights and nice Intertek ETL-listed logo.

Good luck!
