Pretty good specs for the price. For those curious about the graphics, the Vega 8 in the Ryzen 4000/5000U is actually better than the iGPU in the higher-end 4000/5000H CPUs.

The only downside to this device is that the fabric would eventually wear out so you get something like stonewashed jeans.

I got the Samsung Flex 2 Alpha - It's actually only 678 right now with an .edu account (https://slickdeals.net/f/15196861-samsung-galaxy-book-flex2-alpha-i5-256gb-487). My previous lenovo flex 5 only lasted 2 years (hinge problem) and felt cheap. I don't know about this one, but the samsung just feels really well built. Too new to say how long it will last.

RX Vega 8 is pretty bad if thats what this chip really has. Much worse then the latest Intel onboard gpu
https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Com...5vsm441833 [userbenchmark.com]
That's an older iteration of the Vega 8. Here are all the Userbenchmark entries for the Yoga 6 with Ryzen 5000: https://www.userbenchmark.com/Sys...2ND/237999

As you can see, all the 5700U models score around 16-19 for GPU performance, competitive with the Xe.

Seems decent if it ticks one's boxes.

Personally, I'm not enamored with a 300 nit16:9 screen.

Also unfortunate it has 3200 memory instead of 4266. If you're gonna solder it, at least put the good memory on. Bummer for the igpu.

16:10 and 400 nits minimum. 3:2 and 500 nits preferred.

But nice screens cost more money.

Awesome deal, but honestly the frabic is like the deal breakers, since keeping it clean would be a huge issue.
I've been using a version of this for about 3 months now and I like the fabric actually. It's different and so far it's easy to keep clean.

How's the battery life?

I've been trying to get that deal as a medical professional for a couple weeks now and keep getting errors. It's frustrating.

How bad is this graphics card?
It's a 13 inch laptop. It's gonna be as bad or good as any 13 inch laptop: use it for work and web, not for MSFS in 4K

I honestly haven't tested out the battery life fully, but it's probably ok. I wouldn't say it's great - maybe on average 6 hours or so or more with lower screen brightness. For me that's plenty as I just use it at home. If I wanted really good battery life and didn't care about Windows, I would get the Mac M1 Air. I need/prefer Windows though so this is fine.

I actually bought that but returned because of battery life. Thought it was the battery but another post mention something about setting so I will look into it. Regarding the discount, all you need is an email with .edu at the end.

I just bought the Lenovo Yoga 7i the other day. Does anybody have any feedback on which would be better for the long run for general use?
