This was posted recently at $750 but instead of waiting to revise that post I figured I'd get sentiment for the lower price.

I got the Ryzen 5 version of this with the same fabric cover and everything. I was unsure of the fabric but once I got it in my hands I didn't actually mind it at all and kind of like it. Would I choose it over a non-fabric? Probably not but this is just to say it may not bother you as much as you'd think. I'm only a bit skiddish if I've got it at the kitchen table and the kids are eating because I'm worried about food/liquid splash that you could normally just wipe off.

Fingerprint reader is just super convenient for logging in quickly. I've got no complaints about the screen but I don't think I'm picky about it, either. Just a small warning that you can hit the dim key enough to actually turn the screen OFF and I have no idea why. First time I did it I was just spamming the dimmer to get it to the lowest setting and was looking at something else while doing so. I thought I was gonna have to take it back to the store for a failed display in the first 48 hours but thankfully figured it out.

Only minor complaints are that the screen is 'heavy' in that if I try to move around with it open it sometimes falls back or opens more due to its own weight and a little movement. Also the angle in which I use the laptop is such that I can see the backlight under the keys directly.

Only major complaint is that it sometimes does not wake up. If I leave it and it falls asleep, when I come back and try to use it the thing just doesn't wake up. The keys are lit up but the screen is black. Have researched it a number of times and have seen a few threads with a lot of people complaining of the same but have not figured out how to fix it. Seems to have gotten better since I started just putting the computer into hibernate manually with the power button when I'm done with it instead of letting it go to sleep.

All in all I really like the computer. Smilie
Looks awesome to me. Answers to inevitable questions: keyboard is backlit, 300 nits display, 16GB ram soldered and non-upgradable.
Hey with USB-C being the new standard we can start making lame jokes like no HDMI again!!!!!

Just be on the lookout for wifi issue. It somehow starts fine but gets worse over time. I'm not sure if there's a way to fix this but I'm certainly no pro in this area.

Ugh. Just received mine this afternoon. I had high hope on this and it was supposed be a perfect spec laptop. I'm constantly having issue with wifi. Can't barely connect to 5g which none of my other laptop have this issue. The 2.4g wifi strength fluctuate in a great deal as well. Is there a simple fix on this? Otherwise I may have to return it. Such a shame.
That's very surprising, as this has an Intel wifi card, which is generally very good. I would try updating the drivers directly from Intel: https://www.intel.com/content/www...stant.html

No, it's not Intel, it's realtek rtl8852. I've been using it and the 5g connection fluctuate from 150mb to below 5mb. it has disconnected yet.

So the listed specs here are wrong. Realtek wifi cards are indeed horrible, I don't understand why manufacturers try to save like $2 on this, it surely costs them more in support calls and returns. If the laptop otherwise works well for you, get a Intel wifi card on Amazon - $10-20. AX200 is fine, or the older ac cards like 9260/8260 work great, too.

I have no clue on how to switch out the wifi card, but would prefer to do so before the 15 days is over, just in case. Could you point me to right direction in terms of tutorial?

Pretty simple once you open up the computer. Check Lenovo's support site for the hardware maintenance manual, and/or look on YouTube.

Look for the square piece on the motherboard….probably near the perimeter

I got this laptop yesterday and mine does have an Intel wireless AX card. I haven't had any wifi drops. I also did update my drivers using the Intel diagnostic tools linked earlier.

For the price this is a fantastic laptop for general use. Replaces my Yoga 2 pro from 2014.

Anyone have an opinion on how much better this dell laptop is over the Yoga 6? I realize it's $300 more in price. Looking for better build quality, reliable hardware and decent to good battery life.

That's really odd. I'm staring at mine with realtek wifi card. Do they carry two different lines? I may have to return this and reorder.

Really weird. I have the Intel WiFi 6 AX200 160 mhz card in mine. Don't have a good answer to why some have different hardware

Sure enough, on the bottom of the yoga 6 it say, contains realtek module. I guess there's more than one module.
