Love these posts and people coming in to complain about these bottles not being able to break the laws of thermodynamics 🍿
Yea it's hilarious. At least compare it to another non-insulated bottle first! I got this bottle and if I fill it with ice, it stays cold for like 1.5 hours easily whereas with my other bottle (uninsulated) the water is already warm after 45 mins of riding.
They are kind of constrained, physics and all for a bike holder.

I've tried multiple brands and none of them compete with say a hydraflask. Apples and oranges.

I picked up these a couple weeks back. They've been great. They're light weight. Easy to drink from. Pack well with the lock function. Kept my drink cold for 2-3 hrs. I filled it with lots of ice and water and after a 20 mile ride the ice was all melted but the water was still ice cold! All that said, $8 is a good price. Crazy at $16 MSRP.

NOT a good product, bought it last time from Target deal, and it doesn't keep things cold beyond 40-45 minutes. Maybe if you fill it with ice, it will remain cold a little longer but any cold beverage you put doesn't last long, the walls are very thin in order to allow squeeze.

Yep I load up two on my bike on every ride and perfectly happy with them. For 6 bucks a piece will get a few more for when I eventually lose them on a trail.

Some people complain about how hard they are to open when locked, polar bottles are a bit more popular since you can operate it with one hand.

All in all though I have quite a few of these, far better than non insulated and if you make stops you can just top the ice off at a Starbucks or otherwise. Great bottles for the price.

yea, they're a bit hard to unlock. But I just leave them unlocked anyways, unless I put them in a bag and I'm scared of it getting squished or something. Otherwise I see no reason in locking them.

Agree but sure sucks when you have to chomp down hard to unlock while biking for those oh crap moments, I forgot Smilie

I have these and another brand and overall it's great. Want it colder for longer just throw in a couple of ice cubes.

The podium ice version of these bottles keep ice and water cold for longer, but hold less water in the given space due to the extra insulation. I have a few of the 24oz chill ones and 1 21oz ice one. The 21oz ice one is about the same outer dimensions as the 24oz chill ones.

I've been using these and the polar bottles for years. I have found the best way to keep your drink cold is to fill the bottle maybe a third of the way and put it in the freezer the night before. Then fill it up before your ride. It will stay cold for at least a couple of hours.
