Ok deal if you have a microcenter near by as you don't have to wait for the crazy shipping time. Still doesn't match up to the Walmart deal for $100 more or the previous Lenovo website deal (though many got cancellations). The pro 5 has a better and brighter screen as well. 3060 to 3070 is also a big jump.

From 3060 to 3070 is not a big jump in speed, especially usually for the price increase from 3050, 3050ti to a 3060 is a big jump especially for the price at least in my research anyway.

Not at current gouged prices, but lenovo has tons os 16:9 skus distributed worldwide that they need to move.

The extraordinary appeal of the 16" iteration of the "Legion 5 Pro Gen 6" at Walnart, Costco (3050), Lenovo.com, etc. over their widely available and in-stock 17.3 "Legion 5 Gen 6" is this deal is a "Legion 5" (note the lack of the word Pro in its name) and these are all FHD 16:9.

The 16" Gen 6 Legion is the "Legion 5 Pro" which is a different beast with a highly coveted, more impressive display, frankly. QHD+ at 16" leaves you with a different wow factor than FHD 16:9 17.3" displays.

Once you go 16:10, you do things like pay massive premiums over settling for hot deals on 16:9 laptops IMO. Hoping for wider adoption of 16:10, such as the ASUS M16, the Triton 500 SE, Pavilion, Lg Gram, XPS (so far, and growing). All coveted for their game changing screen real estate.

The problem with going from a 16:9 ratio to anything higher means you need a better graphics card to process the data especially with higher end games. A small 15 to 16 inch screen really doesn't need anything higher than 1080 resolution it isn't until you get up into 20" or more that you can really see a huge difference. If you are doing CAD or design or artwork, then maybe you need something like that if not you're just setting yourself up to have to pay another $1000 to $2000 at least every couple of years to keep up with the latest graphics cards/games.
