here's the link for 4k uhd at amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08WM12N1Z (still $.99)

for reference, it was available to own for $5.99 on amazon in 4k/uhd last week; will probably drop lower eventually as well

The one thing I was asking myself throughout this movie was, don't couples ever talk things through with each other before embarking on an adventure together?

Traditionally in Asian marriages, Men make a decision and wife follows them. Men are usually in control and since this is set in 1980s it depicts the relationship of most asian marriages at that time. It's not the same anymore however in remote parts, this is still the case.

Now I'm certain it's headed to a streaming service this or the next month. First the purchase dropped to $6 bucks and now rental is $1.

Oh, my post was made last night where it was not $1 on Amazon despite this deal post. I even checked via JustWatch and only Redbox had it for $1.
Seems it's now reflecting on Amazon and elsewhere though!
