Do they use the LEDs to make your teeth look whiter?

not to knock this product specifically, but if your gums can handle it, just rinsing with (hydrogen) peroxide as mouthwash (or even using it combined with your regular mouthwash, if the taste is too strong) achieves a comparable effect at a near-negligible cost.

i used to use various kinds of whitestrips in the past regularly, and while they are faster (as the concentration of peroxide is much higher than what you can buy in the brown bottles), it's the same active ingredient anyway, and about as likely to cause gum irritation (since the strips will also stick to most people's gums.

also with just using peroxide as mouthwash, you don't have to be slobbery and unable/less able to talk for half an hour (or however long you want to have them in/on for). i don't use peroxide regularly anymore except if i'm maybe preparing for an event, but when getting a crown recently, my dentist noted that my teeth are near the highest levels of white (that are still natural-looking), but obviously ymmw. hope this helps!

Was news to me too, but that's exactly what that's for:

The LED light is a gimmick. It's better to wait for the sale that has 2x the whitening strips and no light,

Good thing to point out!
I always rinse with hydrogen peroxide after having red wine.

I wonder why Crest themselves are pushing these deals lately. Overstocked from the pandemic when people didn't go out?

Well, the LED whitening kit worked much better for me than the strips. I can see the results after 1st treatment. After 5 treatments i got to the results of 4 whitening sessions in a professional clinic ($200 each) i've done 3 years ago. And this is for $10. So..
I think the effect varies from person to person...

Go with the led or the quick strips. I bought the double pack and it takes 21 days to do the whole regimen!
