You might need to change the settings so it doesn't reset the IP often. I don't have that issue with my router about 75+ feet away from most devices and still get ~150mb that far away on 5G. I'm getting the full 300mb on AX devices within ~50feet. YMMY depending on walls, interference and etc.

Was real hesitant about this but it's worked great for me. I didn't fiddle with any settings besides setting it to auto reboot every night at 3am. I have a 2500sq ft home with two stories and this is on the second floor. 400mbps Comcast internet, get almost the entire 400. Vastly improved connection throughout the house. 10/10 recommend.

Similar setting as you above. I have built in router with modem, can I get another one router upstairs and set it up or do you recommend get google mesh or something else. Thanks

Saw that "Voltage: 100240 Volts" too. Not enough to power a Flux Capacitor to send 802.11ax technology back to the 802.11b days, but enough to require a serious upgrade to most household electrical panels!

Is the Netgear nighthawk ax6 ax4300 is available for 149 tomorrow in Costco? Is that superior to this in any way or is this good bargain for almost half the price

I have a 2300sq ft home, also two stories. I guess I can relate and answer this question. I've been using this router for a while now. If you are planning on buying this router, just disable the router function on your modem and plug this directly into the modem to use as the main wifi router.

I have att fiber and absolutely hated the built in wifi, I got this and pretty happy with it. have over 40+ devices connected all over the house, inside and out. No problem with connection/signal.

If you don't mind certified refurbished, TP-Link on eBay has the Archer AX3000/AX50 for $72 - 15% coupon (B2SCRSAVING) = $61 shipped. It has 2 year warranty according to the listing.

Nobody knows for sure what you're trying to say when you don't use the proper units. "mb" is millibit, and that's not a thing. Surely you mean M for mega, but do you mean byte or bit? Could be either.

I purchased the AX1500 model about a year and change ago. Performance wise, it was very similar to my ASUS AC68U. I tested the range and speeds, inside and outside my 1200sq ft Concrete Block home. The speeds were nearly the same. I probably went 50' to 60' away (outside) from the router with very little performance drop vs standing 10' away in the same room.

Very respectable product for the price. I prefer my ASUS because of the granular features, reporting and most importantly, to me, the VLAN settings. I can create 3x guest networks for each band. 2.4ghz and 5ghz. This helps me separate my cameras, my IoT, my personal computers, my friends & family devices from my main network. They don't see each other. I didn't see that option on TP's products.

I value network security and the ability to segregate devices in this case.
