Yes considering there were multiple versions of the x60 sold. Assume that this one is v1 refurb. I have v3 and works great.

I'd pass on this unless I was going to hard wire the nodes together and either pick up the m9+ with triband or wait for the newer wifi 6e triband deco routers to get released

I would say you have nothing to lose, even if its a V1 version, it still comes with a 2 year Allstate warranty and they either fix the product or give you a full refund within 7 business days has been my experience when they were Squaretrade.

These are superior to the M9+ even though they are dual band vs triband. The only way the M9+ would benefit most users if they were in a heavily congested area and not using wired backhaul or if they transfered large amount of files between satellites constantly!

As for waiting for Wifi 6E deco do you have $800 to spend and thats a low estimate other 6E mesh has been even higher $1200.

Need to set proper expectation for the price point.

Another vote for triband. Less headaches with it when it comes to signal stability if there's no access to wired backhaul.

Where did you find v3 if you don't mind me asking? The TP-Link website only shows v1 & 2 under support.

If you don't mind about its max speed is around mid 300s mb. It's a great wireless mesh router.

I would have to say that this is probably the best for the price. I compared it with devices with ~50 mbps higher speeds and at MSRP for all of them was a couple hundred more. With that said, I'd rather purchase from Costco likely getting a newer model with a great return policy. I'm sure there are a few exceptions but I compared several brands and this is the conclusion I came to.

Mid 300 while using wired backhaul? Seems very low.

I thought I heard most of the V1 issues people had have been fixed at this point via FM updates - no?
