Case in point: city leaders, community leaders, and the media have a national conniption when an inner city person is shot by a person of a different color, but when myriads more are shot by people of the same color? Crickets....
If my greatest threat in life was from my own neighbors but my representatives only paid attention to the rare instance of violence from authority figures and made that their platform, I'd feel taken advantage of and ignored. Wouldn't you?
