I tried to get Lenovo to match the price so I could get the Lenovo site CB and Lenovo rewards but they wouldn't do it. Any suggestions? I'd rather not buy it from newegg.

Had tried to do the same with monitors that I purchased which went on sale at Microsoft store shortly after. Lenovo gave me the run around and never matched. If they have a price match policy it's a joke.

I picked up the 3080 deal last month. PC runs great. Only complaint for me is I can't seem to control the rgb on the gpu backplate. Just stuck on that annoying rainbow effect.

overall I would argue probably one of the best prebuilt out right now.

Motherboard is a Lenovo Proprietary board made by MSI. Gpu is also an MSI card rebranded for Lenovo

Lenovo vantage doesn't do it for you?

Nope Vantage controls basically all other rgbs in the tower, which is nice. But for some reason Lenovo decided to opt out on control of the backplate rgb. They have been pretty good with updating Vantage from what I read so maybe one day they will fix this issue.

do you know if it's possible to upgrade the motherboard in the future and remove things like the CPU etc?

Seems like a much better deal than the asus one IMO. Only problem here is the proprietary upgrading. But this case seems much better than the asus one lol

The consensus on Reddit for atleast the 3080 cards was that they were not LHR cards. But for the 3070 I wouldn't know.

$1600 seems to be the sweet spot right now for a 3070 prebuilt. Good deal.

Upgrading is going to be very difficult unless you are fine voiding your warranty. The Lenovo Bios locks you out of almost all config. I'm pretty sure you can even change ram speed, cant turn on resizeable bar etc.

Yeah basically what I plan to do maybe in a year or so after the warranty is out the door. New motherboard and some better name brand ram. Psu on the 3080 version is an 850 gold so I won't bother changing that out.

The only complaint you will find people have with these prebuilts is Lenovo decided to stay away from xmp for the ram.

Simply put switch out the motherboard and ram of your choice and you are basically all set.

Case is great. Thermals are really good. Aio is mounted on the top so if you place your tower under a desk like I do it does get toasty but that's the fans doing there job. I added a little fan under my desk to blow the heat out but that was my problem.

Yeah, seems to be. Apparently they don't match sale prices so that's kinda dumb. I tried again later with a different sales person but got the same answer. Wouldn't they make more money if they sold the PC directly rather than through newegg? I don't get it.
