Given the semiconductor shortage, this is an awesome price for what is considered as the best OEM prebuilt PC that is in-stock.

Is this capable of VR gaming?
Absolutely. You will have no problem running VR games with a 3070 and a i7-11700 with 16gb.

Waiting for the same deal with Ryzen 5800x. Intel 11th gen is a joke and is basically a 10nm design backported to last gen 14nm production. The performance is almost the same and in some cases worse than 10th gen while being more expensive.

Cyberpower/Ibuypower in general is a better prebuilt as they use OEM parts but in stock has been very hit or miss.

Don't know what headaches your speaking of. Basically only main upgrade would be more ram. While your limited on what ram to use you can easily find compatible options.

Other than that if you want to do a major upgrade in a year or two it would just call for a new mother board nothing very hard about that.
So you're going to drop $200+ on a MOBO, then disassemble and reassemble. Yep, no headache there. *rolls eyes* Why not just spend the extra money now on a better PC with a decent MOBO? That'll save you a lot of trouble in the future, even if you plan to upgrade. Not only that, but if you're not careful you may end up having to purchase a new Windows key.

I returned a cyber power pc to costco a month ago because they make a big deal about it has a 3070 and 11th gen intel. They do, but they don't tell you how everything from the MOBO to the fans are the cheapest thing they have lying around.
After two weeks one of the fans on the AIO starting leaking some brown fluid onto the card and I returned it.

I picked up the 3080 deal last month. PC runs great. Only complaint for me is I can't seem to control the rgb on the gpu backplate. Just stuck on that annoying rainbow effect.

overall I would argue probably one of the best prebuilt out right now.
One of yeah, but i had some great ones in last 6+ months from asus, HP OMEN, and even cyberpowerPC all with 3060ti to 3080 cards and all at prices that were lower than the current standard at the time. 2021 will def go down as "the year of the prebuilt" … at least in my book

Not bad, and given that the last 3080 deal around this price point was ~6 months ago, this is probably as good as you're going to get.

I tried to get Lenovo to match the price so I could get the Lenovo site CB and Lenovo rewards but they wouldn't do it. Any suggestions? I'd rather not buy it from newegg.

Lenovo website shows it is unavailable now. Probably don't want to worry about price matching this computer.

Those boutique PC builders may be easier to upgrade or repair since they use off-the-shelf components. However, they are not good if you want a plug-and-play option since iBUYPOWER does not test their PCs before they ship it; according to the sticker on the case that says "Assembled From Tested Components (Complete System Not Tested)".

It says "Temporarily Unavailable" but I am still able to add the PC to my cart and proceed to the checkout.

$1730 with taxes. Very tempting but do you think there will be much better deals later this year? I am buying the Steam Deck so would hate to spend almost $2300 for both.
