Only trades blows in single core benchmarks. Multicore scores for cpu mark and cinebench reflects almost double the score of the intel because of the 8 cores and efficiency.
Not saying the 1165g7 is low end but the 5800u makes it look relatively low end
this model is the newer 16:10 screen (still FHD, the 16 & 17 get bumped up in resolution). comes with 2 thunderbolt 4 ports and a usb-c charger. has an i7-1165g7 processor and 8 gb ram.
i picked up the 15.6" from costco for my wife and she is complaining about the keyboard (mistypes due to proximity of numpad to enter and backspace keys as well as the spongy feel to it) but is in love with the size and weight of the laptop. torn about getting this instead as i'm unsure if the keyboard's feel will be substantially better and if she'll be ok with the smaller screen size after getting used to the 15.6". also really wish it had 16 GB RAM as the newer models have soldered RAM with no extra slots for expansion.

How is the cooling on your wife's? Being a seemingly fanless model they always make me nervous. We have a laptop that's also fanless and it overheats like crazy doing minimal tasks.
Xps13 with 4k for 500. That seems to be an outrageous deal or was it refurb/used?
